Salute to Ark-La-Tex military personnel serving abroad: Shreveport's Ty Speight in Eastern Pacific Ocean

We salute Shreveport, Louisiana's Ty Speight of the US Navy. He is a Cryptologic Technician (Technical) 3rd Class aboard the USS Russell in the Eastern Pacific who grew up in the Ark-La-Tex.

The photo above shows the Shreveport native as he stands the electronic warfare console operator supervisor watch aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer conducting routine operations in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
