#1 August 1 — Youth Baseball Clinic

Free Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kimery Park. Youths 6 to 16 get a chance to play baseball with legends of the game former Major League Baseball players teaching baseball skills. Register online at mblists.com.

#2 August 1 - 4 — EMT Convention

Arkansas EMT Association Annual Convention at the Convention Center with 2,200 attendees. Training and continuing education for EMTs. Call Tammy Clampet, 501-321-2027.

#3 August 3 — Eli Young Band

Magic Springs 2019 Concert Series featuring Eli Young Band at 6 p.m. at Magic Springs Theme and Water Park. Concert free with park admission. Call 501-624-0100.

#4 August 9 – 11 — Fishing championship

2019 Forrest Wood Cup fishing championship on Lake Hamilton, with activities at the Convention Center. The 52 best bass fishermen in the world compete on Lake Hamilton for hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes. #5 August 10 — Sevendust at Magic Springs

Magic Springs 2019 Concert Series featuring Sevendust at 6 p.m. at Magic Springs Theme and Water Park. Concert free with park admission. Call 501-624-0100.

#6 August 11 — Trace Adkins

Trace Adkins concert at FLW. Starts at 4 p.m. at Bank OZK Arena. Free and open to the public. On the weigh-in stage at the Forrest Wood Cup fishing championship. Visit FLWFishing.com or call 270-252-1000.

#7 August 15 —Mountain Biking

Northwoods Full Moon Ride starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Waterworks Trailhead of the spectacular Northwoods Mountain Bike Trail System, 300 Pineland Drive. Free and open to mountain bikers of all abilities. Must have mountain bike in working order, helmet, front light, backup light source, water to hydrate. #8 August 16 – 18 — First Annual Arkansas Tattoo Convention

#9 August 24 - 26 — Forest Products Expo

#10 August 29 – September 1 — Blues and Jazz Festival

#11 August 31 — Special Blues Festival concert day

Hot Springs Blues Festival starts at 12 noon in Hill Wheatley Plaza. Sponsored by the Spa City Blues Society. Admission $15. #14 September 5 – 7 —Motorcycle Rally

14th Annual Hot Springs Motorcycle Rally, headquartered at the Convention Center. The largest motorcycle rally in Central Arkansas. Something for every motorcycle enthusiast. #16 September 20 – 22 — Comic Con (Spa Con)

Spa Con IV Comic and Pop Culture Convention at the Convention Center. Multi-genre entertainment and comic convention. #18 October 4 – 8 — Crappie Expo and fishing tournament

First Ever Crappie Expo at the Convention Center and $100,000 Mr. Crappie Invitational fishing tournament on Lake Hamilton. A hundred of the top crappie teams in America to compete in the tournament. The Expo will feature 100 of the top crappie-related companies in America, boat manufacturers, tackle dealers, fishing guides, seminar speakers, vountry music concerts, plus The World’s Largest Crappie Fry. Second Annual Hot Springs Baseball Weekend at the Convention Center. Legends Ted Simmons and Steve Carlton will be the headline guests. They will be joined by pitching legend Al Hrabosky and Major League players from the state of Arkansas. Celebrate Hot Springs’ role as the Birthplace of Major League Springs Training.
