Anyone wanting to become a Mechanical Engineer will soon be able to complete their degree in Texarkana, Texas.
Texas A&M University-Texarkana was recently offered additional money that allows the university to expand academic programs through the university’s Better East Texas Initiative.
One of the degrees that was identified by the university as helping people in the Four States area was in the field of mechanical engineering.

Soon, Texas A&M University-Texarkana will offer a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
In addition, the university is also going to begin offering a Certificate in Paper Engineering.
Texas A&M University-Texarkana tried to pinpoint specific educational opportunities that will serve the East Texas region well for years to come, while providing students with employment opportunities in fields that are very much in demand.
