We live in a relatively safe area, and virtually everyone can come and go without many problems or worries.
However, crime is a problem in the ArkLaTex, and the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is offering a self defense class for women at the Hope campus' Hempstead Hall Fulton Suite on June 1, 2019.According to the program sponsors of the "Women's Self Defense Class," there are three layers of self defense:
- Prevention
- Avoidance
- Awareness
