While The Canoe Race is the signature event at the Caddo River Festival, there are tons of other special events, games, food and fun on offer at the 9th Annual festival in Glenwood.

On Friday, April 26, the Caddo River Festival will kick-off with a parade, Battle of the Schools Canoe Races and the preliminaries of the Talent Show that is supposed to include some stellar local people.

Those who attend the Caddo River Festival on Saturday will take part in the Car Show, Tractor Show, pancake breakfast, a stage filled with entertainment for the entire day, special arts and crafts, canoe races and the finals of the Talent Show.

Of course, the food will be amazing, and organizers are proud of the various delectable sweet treats and meats that will be on offer at the event.

All of this is happening in Downtown Glenwood, and you will not want to miss it.
